What is the Findom Fetish?
The findom fetish has really bloomed since the pandemic of 2020, the website for findom hepays.com has seen an increase of sign ups in the last few months with there being 534 sign ups to the website as of 20/05/20 to only keep increasing daily.
Let us talk about the fetish and where it potentially started. No one can really pinpoint where the fetish started exactly, however can you really pinpoint where the Dom/sub relationship started? You could say it started in the earliest instances of recorded history, there’s even bible quotes that could possibly pin point it;
“His master said to him. ‘well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master”
Matthew 25:23 –
You could argue that almost every woman is a findomme, in the sense that they’re paid for their time by husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends and non binary partners. However, the misogynistic idea that a woman’s time is paid for is completely arguable also. So where did it start? There’s been articles written by findommes who started over 20 years ago, they say the started on the AOL chatrooms, they would place classifieds in the newspapers before the internet was accessible. So like domination in general, you could say it has been around forever. After all, they do say sex work is the oldest profession.
So, what is a findomme / cashmaster?
A findomme (female), findom (non binary) or Cashmaster (male) is an individual entering a dominant kink in where they take the money of a submissive on their time sometimes with no gratification to the submissive. These could be small amounts of money that they “tribute” to the domme/dom/master for a small exchange in conversation where they could talk about a future D/S relationship.
Findommes/doms/masters sometimes use games, sessions and RACK (risk aware consensual kink) methods to gain more money from their subs. These games, sessions and techniques include –
RT Games – A RT (retweet) game is a game on twitter where the Domme agrees upon terms in which their twitter followers change the outcome of payment the sub eventually owes them. The most common is 2/2/2, 3 per dome 1 per sub, 1 hour – this means that each comment is £2 each like is £2 and each comment left on the tweet is worth £2, 3 per dome means that other domes are allowed to boost the comments by three comments and one comment is allowed per sub. The 1 hour timeslot is where they promote the tweet for engagements to boost the debt eventually owed.
RT games can also involve things such as every 4th comment is an extra day in chastity or a humiliating task the sub must complete.
Drains – Drains are when the domme does exactly what you think, drains the online wallet of the sub, this can be done in many ways, such as;
Skype drains, this is where the domme and sub enter a video call over skype in which she demands the sub send her certain increments of money, this usually involves one of the subs kinks, this could be a foot fetish, to be ignored or even just SPH (small penis humiliation) over the call. This is my personal favourite because who doesn’t like ignoring someone and getting paid for it right?
Teamviewer/anydesk Drains – this is done through a software the domme uses to control their subs computer/ phone remotely – this means the domme could do a multitude of things. These could be things such as putting a parental lock on their computer, locking them completely out with a price to gain the new password, looking through their emails and taking content for blackmail games (I will touch upon these next) but it’s mostly used to access the subs paypal to send money to themselves.
Blackmail – Now I’ve really gone into depth on a previous blog regarding the subject of blackmail, however a brief summary is that blackmail is exactly what you think it is, consensual blackmail in which the domme and sub agree terms in which the domme has “dirt” on the sub where she threatens the sub with exposure unless a payment is made or a humiliation task is completed. Please see my previous blog where I talk about this in a little more depth and why I think that you shouldn’t do this with new subs.
